Pyramid candles are great for all forms of magickal workings. Their large surface area makes them wonderful for carving with petitions, sigils, runes and names. They are tactile and can be used for all intentions.

Once carved you can add oils, herbs, powders and more, with a large area they are wonderful for experimenting with your magickal practice.
 
They can be loaded with herbs outside and in the base, are free-standing but soft enough to carve into or draw symbols in the wax with a toothpick. They are scent free, with a flat base. Burn time depends on your environment, with warmer, better-ventilated rooms allowing for a quicker burn than cooler, less ventilated rooms.

Beeswax is a wonderful wax to work with, currently, it is believed that beeswax is a healthier wax to burn and can be returned to the earth after use if desired. 
Burn time varies greatly depending on ventilation within the space, ambient temperature and more.
